Good but not superlative (Rating: 3 out of 5)
I purchased these as an upgrade from the iPod earphones which I found to be lacking bass. These were a good improvement over those.
Good but I think there are better product on the market at the same price or less.
Awesome (Rating: 5 out of 5) That is the word I describe these wonderful headphones. They are slick cool and the sound is amazing. If I put on any other headphones my music does not sound as clear and not to mention the bass is great.
Good Sound, Broke After 4 Months (Rating: 2 out of 5) The sound out of the Bose in-ear headphones is great, and when I tried them on in the sound-proof Bose store it was the full range of tones and solid bass that sold me.
However, they don't block the sound out. So I would say they are great for use in a quiet setting, like at home, but are not very useful in an urban environment (taking the subway to work) where you really need something to cancel out the surrounding noise, or else have to turn the volume up to a level that will damage your hearing over time.
But then just the other day, after having these less than four months, they broke. First the sound cut out in one channel, and then in both channels. I use my headphones very often and usually keep them in my pocket, but have never treated them in a way that would make them break.
Paying 99$ for a pair of headphones should guarantee their quality for at least two years. The fact that these couldn't make it half a year is pretty ridiculous.
great sound, horrible design (Rating: 1 out of 5) Good:Sound great
Bad: I've had these bose headphones for about 2 months now and i've managed to lose the gel ear pieces twice as they fall off very easily. These headphones DO NOT STAY IN THE EAR if you plan to move your head at all, while wearing these ie walking, running or coughing for that matter don't buy them.
The Best sound I've ever heard from in ear head phones. (Rating: 5 out of 5) First thing you have to know about me is I love Music almost all types from rock to rap and Classical to jazz to country etc, even a little Latin. I've been looking for the perfect head phones for my 160 GB IPod since I got it about a year ago just after it came out. First off the head phones that come with the IPod are garbage. The base sounds really bad. I got rid of those right away. Next I tried 12 - 15 dollar Sony ear buds but the base was nothing special. Not bad granted but nothing special. I then found the Sony MDR-EX55LP in ear head phones and thought I was done even the salesman at the store said don't waste your money on the Bose the Sony head phones are better and cheaper. One day I was in my local mall and wondered in to the Bose store. They had a pair of these in-ear head phones to try out. I said what the Hay it's worth a try. Let's see how the sound compared to the Sony's I already had. Boy was I shocked. They where a hundred times better. The sound is so much richer and clearer. When I bought my pair about a month ago I even found out that the problem with the base in most hip-hop/rap tracks I had been having was no longer there. Now grated that is not 100%. Try the track "A Milli" by Lil' Wayne and the base problem is not completely gone but 95 percent of the time is almost non existent. also I'd been having a problem at work where my Sony head phones would get very tangled up in my pocket while on the job witch I feel it very bad for the ear buds and Bose offers a free carrying case the solves that problem. Over all the best 100 Dollars I even spent! My ears have been thanking ever since.
