Good Stuff (Rating: 5 out of 5) I bought these after being unhappy with a different vendors product and thought they were the best sounding ear buds I had ever bought. I love how comfortable they are in my ears. I did not have any trouble with them falling out and recommended them to my wife as well. If your looking for great sound at a reasonable price these are the best I have found.
Well.... (Rating: 3 out of 5) These ear buds are a little disapointment to me. I work out alot with these things and they just cant seem to stay in my ears. They look great and sound half decent but not what I would suggest to someone who needs something to work out in or run in.
It worth the price (Rating: 5 out of 5) Skull Candy head phone never let me down. The first pair I got is the Skull Crusher with sub woofer, it has excellent sound quality, crystal clear. I can hear notes that I have never heard before !
The same with this ear phone, the sound is also very clear.
There is one thing in common between those 2 pair. The bass ! I usully need bass, strong bass for my hip-hop music and I think it has pass my expectation. I always surprise with the bass produced by Skull Candy headphone. The bass is super strong, it will make your world around this appear ! I think it is one advantage of those Skull Candy headphone when compare to other brands like Sony or Sennheiser. I also use another headphone, it's the Sennheiser HD280pro. It also produce super clear sound but it doesn't have strong bass like Skull Candy headphone.
Strong bass may be is a disadvantage for rocker. I listen many kind of musics but I mainly concentrate to hip-hop and rock. I don't like strong bass when listen to rock because I will miss the sound shredding guitar. But thanks to my ipod, I can set EQ to trebe booster, it will reduce the bass and make the music better. After all, I recommend those head phone for hip-hop fan out there !
One last thing, this Skull headphone has the volume adjust. In my opinion, it doesn't help much to me, I still have to remove my earphone when someone is talking to me, it's a little annoying and uncomfortable but compare that to the quality of the earphone. I don't care !
Again, this ear phone comes with several colors, I'm sure that you can choose the one with the color you like, it will make you look stylish !!!
terrible sound quality (Rating: 1 out of 5) I recieved these for my birthday. I was using a pair of ipod buds on my sansa e250, but they were just painful after a few hours. Comfort on these is much better, but the sound was shockingly muffled at low volume (which I tend to use them at). It was if treble and midrange was filtered, like some kind of instant Dolby noise reduction. Awful. I immediatley went to the equalizer to try and "fix" the problem with no success.
Very disappointing and I would return them but I feel bad because my boys picked them out and I don't have the heart to tell them they're terrible.
Also, they look cool in the package, but when you get them in your hand the wires and build quality remind me of something you would get at the drugstore for 99 cents.
decent sound - cheap flimsy wires (Rating: 2 out of 5) The sound is OK. Cheap flimsy wires that can easily get tangled which is an annoyance. And I suspect better wires would have improve the sound quality to good. For the price it was ok just to get OK sound. But it could have been much better value if the sound quality was good rather than just OK.
