I was heading on a trip and I needed a power supply for my 80 GB IPOD Video Apple 80 GB iPod AAC/MP3 Video Player Black (5.5 Generation).

This is a great system since I can plug in my IPOD into an outlet, and when I was driving, use the connection for the lighter jack in the rental car. The plug folds into the main housing which make it easier to pack. An LED indicator lets you know that your system is connected and ready to charge.

This is an economical and convenient method to travel with your IPOD so you don't have to run out of power.

I haven't used any of the cables that this item came with - I've just been using the charger itself but so far it's been working great! The others who commented about how crazy bright the blue LED light is in this thing weren't joking! It's pretty bright but since I have the charger in a low traffic area in my house the bright light acts more as a night light and not an annoyance.

I haven't had any issues at all with the charger and it juices up all my electronics perfectly. So 2 big thumbs up from me!
