With the Panasonic answering system, you'll never miss important calls, even when the ringer is off. The integrated light-up indicator featured at the base of the handset's antenna will flash quickly when an incoming call is in progress, and will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Should you choose to expand the answering system to include additional handsets, each handset can be programmed to ring or simply flash at your discretion. The system is compatible with up to three additional handsets (for a total of four).

In addition to the standard call waiting feature, this system comes with call waiting caller ID2, a feature that allows you to see who's calling you if you're already taking a call. Other great features include a 50-station shared phonebook, a handy charge indicator, a backlit LCD display, and a convenient intercom feature. I am very happy with this product. The phone works great, I like the phonebook accessory.

The Good: Clear signal through very thick adobe walls (not easy for a phone). Standard AAA NiMH batteries.

The Bad: Handset too small for comfort. No headset jack. Display often hard to read.

Honestly, I did not actually use this phone. I set it up and knew instantly that the hand set way just too small for me and I have small hands. It just felt akward in my hands like it was slipping right through my hands, turned me off. It's better for me to touch and hold the receiver in person at a store to see if it's too my liking.

This system is awesome, great clarity easy to use. But sometimes it acts like a computer. freezes up makes u return handset to base. Its a pain, but tolerable, easy solution.Not a prob worth deciding against system over. Usually happens when checking msgs thru handset.

I recommend it.

Pros: Good phone. It receives well and cuts out interference, also you can walk a long ways away from the dock and still hear fine.
Cons: Price. However I bought these for $39 dollars at Walmart the other day, so unless you don't like to get out you should probably go pick one up from there instead of paying $50+ for it.
