Product DescriptionWatch video or photo on TV with your iPod by connecting this AV cable.
Why It Doesn't Work on Newer IPODS (Rating: 1 out of 5) ITouch/IPhone and the last couple of version of the Nano require a chip to be embedded in the AV cable in order to enable video playing. Your newer Ipods will not play the videos over any of these cheap cables. There are a few non-Apple cables that work, but they are going to be in the > $40 range.
Works Perfectly (Rating: 5 out of 5) This cable works perfectly with the iPod Nano 3rd generation player. Video audio work great, clean picture on our 46" LCD TV. This cable does not work correctly with the iPhone 3G, nor is it advertised to do so. On the iPhone 3G, playback starts and then goes black after 10-60 seconds as I had expected. I'm hoping the company will soon have a working cable for the iPhone 3G.
not what you think (Rating: 5 out of 5) Item is exactly as described. Unforchantly I listened to the people who said it was compatable with the new ipod classic. It is not. The new ipods will only work with a specific chip. Dont listen to these other people.
This Cable is no good (Rating: 1 out of 5) I bought this cable simply because it said it will work with the ipod video but i don't think it will work with anything at all. don't bother buying this cable for the the ipod classic it won't work. I know for sure mines is the 160gb classic and it doesn't work at all. Don't buy
ONLY WORKS ON OLDER iPODS (Rating: 1 out of 5) Ive bought a varitey of different cables that say you can use them for video, but all of them only work for sound. i have a spankin new 80gig, from what ive been reading. they modified the new ipods so that none of these cables work. so youd better start looking for one made by apple.
