Works for me! (Rating: 4 out of 5) My laptop and PC both recognized it right away. I have not had any problems with it yet, had mine for about 3 mths. I do not use usb cords anymore because of this. Works great and for a good price.
Great tool to have in your pocket, plastic is cheap (Rating: 3 out of 5) This is a great tool to have in your pocket. Not only does it read your cards but if you keep an old SD card in there you can use it as a flash drive :) Only problem is that the plastic is cheap, and after a while the covers will crack and stop working. But what can you expect for such a cheap reader.
Doesn't work at full USB 2.0 speed (Rating: 2 out of 5) I've tried it with many PCs and never has it been recognized as a USB 2.0 device.
I've compared this card reader with a friend that has a very similar one and we noticed that some components were different under the transparent plastic shell.
The model I've received might be from a different batch and it would cost more to ship it back than to order another model.
Works (Rating: 5 out of 5) These things either work or they don't. This one works fine for me. There are a million and one different brands of these reader/writers... All do pretty much the same thing. This one being USB2.0 does allow faster transfer rates of course.
