2" Smoker Thermometer (Rating: 5 out of 5) This thermometer made my terrific Weber Smoker even better. Drill a 3/8" hole in the smoker's dome lid, mount the probe of the thermometer through the hole, and you are in business.
Nice thermometer and accurate readings (Rating: 5 out of 5) I used this in a home-made ceramic smoker. The thermometer is heavy duty and is accurate. I had two minor issues: The threads to attach the nut to the back of the thermometer were too short (like 3/8" of an inch) so I had to Rube Goldberg a mounting bracket and the probe is 2" long which effectively prevents food from being within 2" from the lid.
NNMC (Rating: 5 out of 5) 2 Inch Smoker Thermometer
This was very helpful in the control of my old smokey smoker.
It seems to be very accurate and is necessary because the old smokey smoker get hot.
Great thermometer (Rating: 5 out of 5) This is a nice little thermometer, it was easy to install in my Weber Grill. I can just peak my head out the door and see what my temp is rather than having to lift the lid and try to guess, meanwhile losing alot of heat. It has a nice sized, easy to read dial!!
A great BBQ grill thermometer (Rating: 5 out of 5) This thermometer works well and it can take the high heat generated by a gas BBQ grill. (The Taylor thermometer I bought first broke the first time I used it.) It mounts easily in a 3/8" hole in the lid of the grill. However, after purchasing and using this item from here at Amazon, I discovered it's available elsewhere on the web for one-third their price!
