    Customer Reviews

Love it!  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

The assembly was simple enough. I bought this based on reviews I had read and the fact that I was not going to spend over $400 on a new grill. I had previously owned Charbroil and the like, and needed new burners and grates evey few years. Also had to constantly rotate food to get it all to cook evenly. The Q is unreal. Obviously time will tell the life of the parts, but they appear sturdy and well made. As far as operation, the auto light feature is quick and easy, burner operation simple and straight forward, and the temperature is completely even which makes cooking on it a dream.

Wonderful Grill  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

I seem to purchase a new grill every two years at Sears, but they tend to rust out. I use covers, but we use them year round and I think the New England winters are hard on them. That being said, everyone said "Buy a Weber if you want it to last". I spent a day looking at Weber grills at various stores. I didn't want to spend a tremendous amount since my last grill was $800 and the "stainless" steel components rusted terribly after one season.

The salesperson at a local high end grill store explained to me that my Sears grill more than likely was made overseas of poor quality metal, but that the Weber grills were made in the US of high quality metal. However, the cheapest Weber they had was a $750 Weber Genesis. I went to the local hardware store and saw a Weber Spirit for a much cheaper price, and was told the same thing by the salesperson that "all Weber Grills are made in the US". I then saw the label on the Weber Spirit that said "Made in China". This led me to call Weber, and they said their Genisis and Q lines are made in the US but the Spirit is made in China. I hadn't seen the Q, but fortunately Amazon and the helpful reviews led me to this grill.

It is a wonderful grill and has aluminum and plastic parts that should avoid the rust issue. The light is terrific. It looks very attractive and I think more so than the Genesis. It has a large surface area which is more than adequate for my family of 5. It does take some getting used to as it is a VERY HOT grill, so I am cooking on low. I warmed it up two nights ago in a snow storm at 20 degrees outside, and within ten minutes the grill temperature was at 600 degrees. I think that is pretty impressive. I couldn't be happier.

Best grille ever!  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

Just received this Weber grille in time to cook out Christmas dinner. We had a charcoal Weber many years ago, and decided to replace our aging gas grille with this one. The overall quality of this grille is hard to beat. The grates are the sturdiest we've seen, and very easy to keep clean. Having a temperature guage in the cover, and a light in the handle really helps prevent burnt or overcooked food. No more trying to juggle a flashlight while cooking at night! In addition, this grille gives us more grilling space than we had with our last larger gas grille. It was easy to put together, and we like the fact that just the stand, as well as other grille parts, can easily be replaced if needed, instead of ordering a whole new grille.
Amazon's price for this grille, along with their delivery options made this a deal we couldn't pass up.

this grill is dangerous  (Rating: 2 out of 5)

I have had this grill for about 3 years which if it wasn't dangerous, I would say it at least held up quality wise. However, the burners (once replaced) explode when you try to start it. I have learned to open the lid, light the burners, leave it open and STAND BACK. In about 10-15 seconds, the entire surface erupts in a huge fire ball... I finally decided it wasn't worth risking my life to have a piece of grilled chicken and am now looking for another bbq. Also, another drawback to this unit is that although you can control the heat, it's one burner...so no matter where you cook on the grill, it's the same temperature all over. There are also SEVERAL cold spots. In fact, there was really only one spot on this grill that actually cooked. The rest of the food would eventually get hot but never looked bbq'd. I would not recommend this to anyone unless it's for just taking to the beach or something for an occasional use. Customer service was also very poor...

weber grill  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

    Owned for around one month...

I replaced my old square box Weber grill with the Weber 320. I love the new updated design, is a pleasure to look at.

The most important part of any grill are the grates and the grates on this 320 are very heavy and substantial. These grates will last a lifetime unlike the skinny wire grates that rust out after a couple seasons.

The grill heats up nicely, has the option to turn the middle or outside burner off for slow cooking.

I especially like the grill light mounted on the handle, no more carrying the flashlight out to turn the steaks.

The ignition system is boosted by a AA battery which helps give a strong spark. My previous grills would fail to light after a couple seasons and the Piezo ignition seems to not work so well when it is cold.

Assembly was straightforward and actually very simple. All the parts fit as designed. Total time spent on assembly was around 30 minutes.

Besides looking very stylish, this grill is great to cook on !!
