Customer Reviews

Motorola H-710 "Outstanding Headset"  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

This headset is nearly instantaneous in pairing with your phone. I have it paired with a Blackberry Pearl and had no problems whatsoever. After charging and turning it on for the first time, the headset automatically enters pairing mode. From there, it's a simple process to select the device on your bluetooth phone to complete the pairing process. The audio quality is crystal clear on both ends and the headset maintains its connection even beyond its stated 33 foot range. I've had my handset downstairs on the first floor of my home and I am talking on the headset upstairs on the third floor with perfect clarity and no static. Noise reduction is good in that callers report very little to no noise when I am talking to them outside in a moderate wind. The headset is very light and comfortable on the ear and after about ten minutes of wearing it you'll forget you have it on. The "flip open/close" boom mic is a real plus for this headset - - open and the headset is on immediately - - close it and it's off thus saving your battery life tremendously. I highly recommend this headset to anyone looking for a quality device that will maintain the connection with their phone and produce outstanding audio clarity.

Excellent!   (Rating: 5 out of 5)

The bluetooth connects quite easily to my smart phone (MOTO 9Q) and the 'clarity' of the reception is very good; even in 'remote' locations for the most part.

Motorola Bluetooth H710 Headset [Retail Packaged]   (Rating: 4 out of 5)

I am pleased with the clarity of my new Motorola Bluetooth. My friends say they can hear me with little background distortion.

Stay away  (Rating: 1 out of 5)

We were able to use this headset for one full charge - when it worked it worked great, but it only worked for one full charge and now it is dead. We are now trying to figure out what to do with it.

Poor Quality!  (Rating: 3 out of 5)

Maybe I just received a dud, but I purchased this specific headset because I used previous models (H850 and H700) both before and was fairly pleased. I gave it to my mom for Christmas because of it's ease to use and great look while also usually fitting on the ear.

She gave it right back after the first hour because of "hissing noises" she claimed to hear in the background.

Sure enough, I paired it to my phone, and even with no call and just walking around, I would hear some light hisses and crackles.

I had recently purchased the H715 from Costco for myself and was surprised how different the quality was.

Wish I could say I was exchanging it to try another, but now my mom just wants to stick with the old-fashioned wired headset instead.

I'm still giving it a three because I hope it's just this specific one, and despite the problems, I still think it looks great, and is extremely easy to use.
