It does scratch easily but if you treat it with care it will last a long time.
I got this case for my birthday and my friends were absolutely blown away, because it looked really cool. Its best to get it right when you get the i-pod. The price is nice compared to apple's prices that range around 35$...BUY IT!!!
Silver hardcase (Rating: 5 out of 5) this is a sweet little hard case for your ipod, keeps it nice and clean as well as protecting it from damage. ive dropped my ipod with this case on a few times and it never busts open. the ipod fits nice and tight. the only bad thing is you can not scratch the inside of the shinny silver. the case dims out the screen alot, very hard to see in the day light but perfect in a darker place.
Beautiful Design (Rating: 4 out of 5) The most beautiful case I've seen for iPod nano. The front face of the case is mirrored and it becomes transparent when the screen of the iPod is on. The only problem is that it scratches easily and you have to take some care to keep it beautiful, but it's far more beautiful then the commmon silicon cases.

Good Protection and Good Looks (Rating: 4 out of 5) This case is beautiful and offers great protection for your ipod. However, it does scratch relatively easily. So the case started to look worn sooner than I would have liked. However, if the scratches on the case don't matter to you(after all, you are trying to protect your ipod not the case), than this is the case for you.
Fantastic iPod Case (Rating: 5 out of 5) In my opinion this is the perfect iPod case. I took my iPod out of the box and put it straight into this case, and the iPod still looks brand new underneath. I dropped it pretty hard on pavement and expected it to snap apart, but it stayed together and didn't have a scratch on it.
The entire case is sleek and adds almost no bulk. The back is rubberized just enough to keep the iPod sticking to surfaces, but not enough to pick up little bits of dust like other cases. The mirrored front looks really nice; my blue one gets complimented frequently. The front does show some scratches after a while, but it keeps the iPod underneath in perfect condition, which is what is really important.
Overall, this case is extremely well engineered and well worth the money! Makes a great gift for someone who loves their iPod.
