The case is very good at preventing damage in tough environments. I have had it with my camera for over a year and a half and haven't had so much as a scratch on my camera.

I use it primarly for field work, so the fact it is a little bulky isn't a problem. I don't use it when I am going out and am dressed up. I would suggest this for when you need something that can allow your camera to be thrown into a laptop bag, dropped down some stairs, or other difficult environment. It is not really for putting in your pocket on a Friday night.

The strap(s) are basically useless too, the standard straps on most of the cameras themselves are far more useful.

My Camera, a sony DSCT200/B

This is a nice case, but the described belt loop does not exist - this case only includes a neck strap. I bought it for both and am disappointed. Additionally, because it is a leather case, it is somewhat bulky.
