Product DescriptionThe Chuckit! is one sweet way to exercise your dog...without wearing out your arm. With the Chuckit!, you can throw that ball out of the ballpark over and over again. Use it in the park, in your backyard, or anywhere there is plenty of room. With a little practice you can consistently throw the ball 100 to 140 feet. Instructions: Find an open area, away from people, animals and buildings. With the ball in the Chuckit!, grip the handle firmly. Extend your arm back over your shoulder until the ball is behind you. Then swing it forward in a smooth arc and follow through. The ball will release when you swing it fast enough. Hands Free Pick Up. Holding the handle of the Chuckit!, place the ball claw over the tennis ball and press down firmly. Description: 12 inches long. Made of lightweight, durable plastic, the Chuckit! uses a standard-size tennis ball and is designed for hands-free pickup... so you NEVER have to bend down and pick up a slimy ball again.
Not what I thought; only 12" long (Rating: 4 out of 5) This works good, but I thought that it was the longer Chuckit. This one is only about 12" long.
Love the chuckit and so does my lab (Rating: 5 out of 5) I love the chuckit and so does does my 11 month old lab. I find it easier to use and it take less space to store than a tennis racket. My 4 yr old daughter thinks Mommy is great at throwing a ball. I will be buying another one soon to have just in case something happens with my current one.
3 out of 4 Paws (Rating: 4 out of 5) First Impression: Someone gave me the Chuckit Ball Launcher as a gift. It seems to be for lazy humans. Fetch is not my favorite game, so we don't use this toy very often. However even Mom can make the ball go pretty far with the device. For the most part I just look at her like "Why did you throw the ball way over there?" then she goes and gets it for me. Don't get me wrong I like to chew on the ball... But why should I retrieve it? I'm not a retriever!
Conclusion: If you like to fetch, this is a great device for your parents to buy. They will be able to throw the ball farther, and they won't wear out as quickly. Plus if they are "old" they don't even have to bend over to pickup the ball! They can use the Launcher as a handle and press the cup onto the ball. Nifty. 3 out of 4 stars because Rottie's are not big on fetch.
