I was very disappointed in this product. The light did not work. I tried replacing the batteries, but still no luck. The item seems cheaply made. I will be returning it.

Amazing!! Imagine the health and environmental benifits in eliminating multiple bleach cleanings in hospitals and day-care facilities! As well as the time saved in washing lettuce and vegetables.
But would you trust this product to scan a bacteria laden piece of meat and feed it to your children?
Zadro sites five international testing labratories to back up their claim that this product will disinfect 99.99% of virus and bacteria.
But I've been unable to find any of the test results.
Four of the "Independant Laboratories" are in China and do not answer my email requests. The one and only US/European laboratory referral; Intertek (ETL), lists several 'standard' Zadro lamp tests on their website but none for the Nano-UV Disinfection Light Scanner.
I have emailed requests to both Zadro and ETL for copies of the tests but have yet to receive an answer or verification.
I'll post any further results but if none are pending BEWARE of trusting anything without proof. Especially anything that will endanger your health.

I received the unit minus the plastic cover that's supposed to be on top of the light; when I wrote them about it, they said they couldn't do anything about it. I kept using it until the light stopped coming on. At which point I thought maybe the batteries were out. Despite trying four different new Energizers, it still won't work and since it's after the 90 days (I've had it around 11 months) I'm out of luck. :(

This Nano UV was given to me for a gift, it worked fine for about 30 days & then stopped working & they will not stand behind their product. When we contacted the company to ask them to repair or replace it they sent us an e-mail stating the following:

NANO: The UV light for the Nano Scanner has a useful life of 4000 scans. It cannot be replaced.

WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS:

You can send in your mirror to be repaired or replaced if it is still with in the 90-day limited warranty. The customer must prepay postage. Please follow the instructions below.

In other words your out of luck! You bought it now you own it. Its not like this is a toy for $10.00. This was expensive & the company will not stand behind it if it stops working right away.

Good luck if you choose to buy it but I would save the $80.00 & don't buy it unless they change their warranty.

This is an excellent tool for disinfection. Rays of light will be on the cutting edge for many health related issues in the future. I recommend this light very highly.
