I've only had these for a short time but they were good enough for me to buy more products from Calphalon.

They're lightweight and durable. They have quite a long handle. I've only used them on my nonstick products and NO melting. I've had such an issue with that in the past. They are dishwasher safe (no melting).

I'm so glad I listened to the positive reviews and purchased these. I bought a separate stainless steel canister and put them all together. I don't know what other information I can give about them except they are what they say they are.

These utensils are the same ones you will buy separately, not some cheap knock offs. The hold the Calphalon name true - they are very high quality, a great shape and easy to work with. They work great with the non-stick Calphalon cookware, and are very big (normal?) in size. I was a little worried the turner and spoons weren't going to be big enough, but they are full size.

Bought this for my wife and she really likes all the pieces. Veru good quality. It should last many years.

We received a variety of these Calphalon nylon utensils as a gift about ten months ago. So far none of them have melted like "cheap" plastic utensils, but they have not proven to be very durable in other regards. I am looking to replace several of the pieces and won't be buying this "model" again for a couple of reasons:

First, the edges have "flaked". I am not sure how else to put it, they aren't exactly cracked but layers of the material have peeled away and this caused little bits of the utensil to break free and add unwanted "seasoning" to my dishes.

Second, they DO bend pretty easily and the silicon surface peeled up at the stress point within weeks. It appears that the silicon section just isn't mounted well.

Third, though they claim to be dishwasher safe, one pass through the washer left them with permanent light spots/stains- they look like bleach stains.

Overall I am not completely dissatisfied, after all the ones that haven't begun "flaking" still do the job with mediocre performance. I don't feel like the purchase price of these would be a waste by any means, I have just used better and would recommend purchasing an alternative.

Macy's does not provide correct description for this item, so don't believe it or what you see in this picture Macy's provided. I ordered these utensils and they had no steel parts whatsoever, just nylon and silicone. And between nylon and silicone there are like wide cracks, so it will be hard to clean and dry them.
Don't order this product, you'll be disappointed. Completely wasted money!
