A Voice Call function grants convenient communication from the base to the headset. Large, 40 mm diaphragms ensure full-bodied sound, while a self-adjusting, comfort-fit headband makes the set easy to wear. The headphones offer automatic on/off (triggered by the presence or absence of audio signal) as well as automatic charging when stationed in their base. Braille-type markings signify left and right ear pieces. Rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries are included.

I try to use these about 10 feet away with an unobstructed view and they crackle and pop continiously. Turning the volume up to an unbearable level will override the noise. If I turn my head just right the noise will stop. Would not recommend if you want a clear reception.

I found these headphones had a lot of noise. Returned them ASAP. Don't bother! The return experience with Amazon was great! Recommend them.

These JVC HAW600RF headphones are great. We use them for television, so I have no reference as to how well they perform in HiFi, but for television viewing they are exactly what we wanted. My wife can listen to her TV programs even when she walks around the house. I get to read while she is listening. We have had no problems with static or background noise and they have a power on off switch to turn them off without having to return them to their cradle. I read some reviews about other brands that had no On/Off switch. I did the right thing by buying them.

I would not recommend this product for several reasons. First, it is very inconvenient to install or remove the batteries. Second, it is very cumbersome to line up the connector on the headset with its mate on the charging stand. And lastly, the maximum volume obtainable on the headset is too low even with the battery fully charged.

I bought these headphones for the bedroom TV as I like to go to bed earlier while she watches TV. Super easy to setup, good reception range, good audio quality, no complaints after 1 month. Occasionally there is a bit of background static but it is probably something in the condo building more than the product itself, as it is very intermittent.

Also, I find it very easy to get the headphones on the base to charge the battery - those complaints about the complexity of that task seem unfounded in my experience.

Overall an excellent product at a reasonable price.
