Great shakers for my grill (Rating: 5 out of 5) These are great salt and pepper shakers for the grill. Yes, the holes are large, but I use more salt and pepper on the grill than I do at the table. These shakers are larger than they appear in the picture. Each one is 2-1/2-inches wide and 3-inches tall. They are made of a high quality acrylic plastic. The black, top section does not unscrew. They are filled through a rubber stopper on the underside. I'm glad I purchased them and would do it again.
There's a Hole in My Bucket (Rating: 2 out of 5) These salt and pepper shakers are pretty much what I expected, plastic shakers to put outside that you can drop and get dirty and not worry about it. For the price, the build quality meets or maybe even exceeds what I would expect.
The holes are way too big though. I never understand how companies screw up the size of holes on these shakers. They have one feature they really need to check before they package it and that is the ability to shake salt or pepper out without releasing too much or too little.
Too much you say? Make the holes smaller!
Too little? Make them larger.
Did they even run salt or pepper through these? A LOT comes out. Much more than this salt lover would ever use.
