very fun game (Rating: 5 out of 5) I pruchased this game for my psp because I needed a game that was fun to bring around instead of playing infastructure which I only plaed before. As soon as I started playing, I couldn't get the game off my hands. While being addicting, project 8 compares with all the other tony hawk games for portable systems because of its great, realistic features. One tiny thing I dislike about this game, however, is the fact that there are truly unneccessary missions that are complicated to pass. Overall, this game is very good and extremely fun for all ages. A must-buy for your psp's.
TONY HAWK PROJECT 8 IS INDEED THE BEST PORTABLE SKATEBOARDING GAME (Rating: 4 out of 5) After playing the same title on XBOX 360 and PS3 I was not holding my breath for this portable title for PSP. I have to say it's a great PORT to the PSP and it my as well be the best game for the PLAYSTATION PORTABLE. I Really enjoyed it, how ever the control scheme is the thing I am still having a problem mastering. Give it some time.
All in all Tony Hawk comes back with full force with great skateboarding action that transports me back to my childhood skateboarding!
It rocks! (Rating: 4 out of 5) This game is very good. I agree that is very similar to other games of the Tony Hawk`s series. But ive been a long time without playing any of them (i didn`t pass through every sigle game) and then this game offers a lot of fun and new features. Ok, its a PSP game, not a PS3 80GB game so don`t ask too much, just play, get the goals as always and get fun!
Pretty bad! (Rating: 1 out of 5) The game has glitches and is not really much fun and it messed up my PSP!
near perfect tony hawk game on the small screen (Rating: 4 out of 5) From what I have heard, the Project 8 series on the xbox 360 and ps3 is a whole new game, as opposed to a recycled version of Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Make no mistake, the psp version of project 8 falls into the latter category. This is simply the ps2 version of pro skater scaled down onto the small screen. Don't get me wrong--this is a great game that is a lot of fun to play. I had lost interest in the hawk games when they hit the "short bus" category with the Bam tour and THUG. But this is Hawk tried and true, and it is right on the money. I haven't found any explosions, segways, or bikes on this one, and I'm really hoping I don't. This one plays good and looks good. I don't know about the music cause I don't even bother with it. Lots of levels to play with some old school stuff thrown in.
