This is a pretty good case, however, it doesn't really "latch" very well. So far thise hasn't created any problems for me, since it doesn't come apart on its own. However, the lanyard has come apart on my twice and I had to use a vice to "re-pinch" the neckband back together. All in all, a bit cheap, but definately worth the money!

It's very easy to be overwhelmed by the endless variety and expense of Nano cases. I wanted a cheap ($6 with shipping) case with a secure cord (lanyard) running through the top of the case and this one meets both of my requirements. It's well made and nicely finished, holds the Nano securely (with a little play) and takes some of the larger 1/8" phone plugs (my Koss KSC-75 and Alessandro MS1 fit but my AKG K501s don't). I use the lanyard with the iPod screen facing my chest so I can read it by tilting the bottom of my Nano inward and upward. This case doesn't protect the screen (use a plastic screen protector) or the wheel so it's not waterproof but for $6 including shipping it's a handsome, sturdy alternative to the other overpriced Nano cases.

I have a 2nd Generation Ipod Nano. This case fits perfectly and protects like it says it does. It's easy to use, and it's a great bargain. I highly recommend it.
