"My main gripe with this product deals with the confusing nature of the product information. One of the most important pieces of info has to do with the voltage ratings of the device. As you probably know, using a device with a higher voltage than what the Zune or iPod allows would fry the mp3 player (as has been voiced in other customer reviews for the product).

First off, my Zune 2.0 is rated for about 5V (as is most mp3 players from what I know). This is way below what you say for your product on your product page (12V) even though you say the product is compatible with Zune. Even worse, on the actual packaging of the product, it says rated for 5V on the actual charger, but it says 12V on the product packaging. How do I know which to believe? Let me not take that chance..."

True, I've never used it, but why risk it. By the way, I bought my Zune and this charger at the same time, and DAMN how hard it was to figure out if these 2 are the same voltage! If you're getting a new mp3 player and are looking for a charger, just get the mp3 player first, then search your nearest electronics store for something of a comparable voltage. Hope this helps someone!

It does not look anything like the picture, and when I opened it it was coming apart.....It still works but It did not look like anything in the picture

Great to use at home or in a car to charge Ipod shuffle, don't need computer anymore.

My charger came from Accessory Export, LLC Storefront. It looked slightly different than the one in the picture, but I didn't think anything of it. The second I plugged it into my ipod, the screen went nuts. My ipod is now totally non-functional. After this happened, I checked the output voltage on the unit and it read 12V. I wish I had looked at that before plugging it in. Some ipod chargers run at 9 volts. Apple's charger puts out a whopping 5 volts. But 12 volts is just way too much juice. Needless to say, I am not very happy with Accessory Exports. If you buy this unit, make sure it looks like the one in the picture, and for goodness sake, check the output voltage before hooking it up to your ipod!

I love having this in my car. Now my Shuffle is always charged or can be charged when I forget to turn it off when I turn off the car...lol Great price and fast shipping.
