Customer Reviews

Best ever  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

I have a large Kenmore grill, but I prefer to use the Baby Q. It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly. Also, the grate is non stick and very easy to clean. I always run out of the drip pans so I put aluminum foil in them and just toss that at the end. Overall, this is a great grill for the money, and has lots of accessories(check out the stand).

Great grill  (Rating: 4 out of 5)

I bought this grill for portability. It lives up to the Weber name. I purchased the large bottle LP adapter also as I didn't want to waste money on the disposable cylinders. The only downside is the small grilling surface, but that's what you give up for ease of bringing it somewhere on the road.

This thing is awesome!!  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

Best grill under 300 bucks bar-none. It fires right up first or second try every time. It wreaks of high quality. Grills whatever you want perfectly...steaks, chicken, burgers, fish, corn, shrimp, scallops, veggies etc. Use it with the cart and you're set. 5 stars without a doubt!

Exellent grill!!!!  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

I have just recently bought my second Weber Q grill. I loved the first one so much (we keep it at camp.) I wanted another at the house. It's pretty bad when you have a huge stainless steel grill but prefer the Weber Q. Great Grill!!!!

Weber Baby Q 120  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

I have had the opportunity to use the Weber Baby Q Model 120 a half dozen times now, and I could't be happier with it. I've barbecued steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs on it and they've all cooked evenly and left qreat sear marks, thanks to the porcelain-covered cast iron grate. The grill heats up quickly and develops more than enough heat to properly sear a great steak.

I'm a little puzzled why customers so highly rated the Weber Q grill but down-rated the Baby Q. They are identical except in size! Yes, the heat output is less than the Q, but the area to be heated is less, as well.

I am an RVer. The Baby Q fits perfectly in one of my basement compartments, and its compact size and reasonable weight makes it a perfect grill for RVing. Although it's size is perfect for the grilling needs of my wife and me, it also performed admirably for us when we had company on one of our recent camping trips.

It is a dream to clean, to use, and to store. What more can you ask for?

A few reviewers complained about the Weber grills not accepting the camping-style propane cylinders seems odd to me--the type cylinder the Weber uses is the more widely available and common soldering-torch style, found at any hardware store.

I haven't had to use those cylinders yet; I use our 5-gallon cylinder, which I carry with us on our trips, and I also have available my RV's 100-
gallon propane tank. All it takes is the proper hoses and attachments.

I was concerned that the heat would discolor the painted lid (ours is the more common "silver" color) but so far the color remains the same as it was when we received it. (FYI, Weber also sells Baby Q models with forest green lids and red lids. These lids can also be purchased individually from Weber--check their website.)

The Weber Baby Q Model 120 has the fold-in tables as does its larger siblings. I have found these tables to be very helpful to me when I grill, so I don't regret spending the extra money for this model.

In my opinion this grill deserves every one of its five stars.
