Does not seem to charge well (Rating: 1 out of 5) Hi. It may be just that the specific one I received is defective, but this adapter charges very slowly whereas when I plug the same cable directly into my computer or another adapter I have, my iPhone charges quickly quickly.
Amazing Deal (Rating: 5 out of 5) These things cost $29.99 at the store, I thought that this one would be a crappy knock-off like everyone probably thinks but infact it works perfect. It is just as good as the $30 one that my sister has, GREAT DEAL!
Very happy with this item (Rating: 5 out of 5) A lot has been said about the seller's shipping prices. Yes, they are exhorbitant, but compared to Apple's price-gouging, I couldn't be happier. I got this charger, along with a replacement (retractable) USB cord for about $16.00 total including shipping. Apple charges $29 for their charger alone, and mine was lost or stolen less than a month after I bought it. I've had no problems with this generic charger since purchasing it, see no discernible difference between it and Apple's, and would recommend it highly.
Disposable Charger (Rating: 1 out of 5) When I first got this charger and started using it I thought it was great. It did what it was supposed to do. Why the one star then? After about two weeks it just stopped working. It didn't fall or anything. It died about two weeks after I got it. I can't really complain though, after all it cost me 5 bucks.
More good than bad (Rating: 4 out of 5) This product has good and bad points. I listed some below:
Good
---------
Cheaper than Apple ($5 as compared to $30)
Works great
Small
Convienient
Bad
---------
Cheap (might not hold up long term)
No warranty coverage for your iPod is something goes wrong
Has to be plugged in upside down (for me anyway...)
Overall, I'm glad I bought this instead of Apple's version. The main factor for me was price, but if you have the money, get the Apple charger, simply because you'll be covered by warranty that way.
