Product DescriptionIt's alive! Cleverly crafted to bring out your kitty's natural stalking instinct, Thing in a Bag is a durable, claw and bite-resistant bag with a secret battery-operated toy inside. When activated, the toy rattles the crackly, crinkly material inside and shakes the bag. Cats find it intriguing, entertaining, and totally irresistible. Durable, reinforced bag has Velcro closure. Easy to Follow Instructions: Unfold bag opening and carefully remove battery box. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the retainer screw from battery box. Slide open the battery box door. Insert three AA batteries (not included) as indicated inside box. Replace cover and secure retainer screw. Re-insert battery box and secure to retainer strip so the on-off button faces the folded closure. Roll the bag closed and press firmly on the retaining strip to secure. To start the fun, hold the battery box from the top and press the on-off button. Bag will shake randomly and, to reserve battery power, automatically turn off after three minutes.
My cat was scared out of its wits but maybe yours will like it? (Rating: 2 out of 5) I have a very playful cat, he's 11 months old. Maybe it's his personal thing, but this bag scared he heck out of him. His fur just poofed up. Once it rattled, he ran away, but he stayed curious. Over 15 minutes he took baby steps toward the bag, whenever the bag shook, he'd jump back.
I tried to pet him to reassure him but he was so jumpy that he literally jumped 3 feet into the air. Then he accidentally bumped into a pair of slippers sitting nearby and jumped some more. My boyfriend tried to get him used to it, just the site of the bag and my boyfriend pretending to play with it made him jump again.
Maybe it will work out for more daring cats?
Great Idea but needs more work (Rating: 3 out of 5) The idea is priceless, cats get really interested and intrigued. Great for kittens but not so good for older cats. Good points: Bag moves in a circle on a tile or wood floor so looks like something is trying to get out. Improvements needed: the motor is too powerful and loud and there should be longer waits so the cats can move in before it goes off again.
My cats weren't interested (Rating: 2 out of 5) I thought my cats would go crazy for this. When one of them gets inside a paper bag and moves and rattles it the other ones love to pounce on it, but they just were not interested. They looked at it for a few minutes and then walked away. They would have enjoyed an empty paper bag or box more.
it sucks (Rating: 1 out of 5) the thing in a bag is just a waste of money. When i first got it and showed it to my cat, he was really affraid of it. and everytime it would move, my cat will jump so high (i thought it was funny how scared he was). I wanted to send it back to KV, but i didnt have the original box, so i still got it somewhere. My cat will never play with it, i even tried to play along.
say what? (Rating: 1 out of 5) I canceled iten and kv responded,I think? If it is being sent that's ok. thanks David Friant
