Olympus ME-15 is a highly sensitive miniature tie-clip microphone with frequency response from 100 - 12.000 Hz. It is ideal solution to record your own voice or from other people nearby.

The Olympus ME-15 Microphone is a small, lightweight tie-clip microphone that can be conveniently clipped to the tie or collar. The microphone can also be fixed under a jacket or shirt for easy concealment. The ME-15 is an ideal accessory for Olympus digital voice recorders. The mic's cord is 3.3-feet long and the entire unit weighs only 11 grams. A tie pin-type clip is also included with the microphone. Note: When using the ME-15 with Olympus Pearlcorder microcassette recorders, you will need the Olympus PA-1 plug adapter (sold separately).

This works great with our new tape recorder. Does exactly what it should do. No complaints. Price seemed about right. Cord is a good length and the clip-on makes it easy to hold if you don't actually clip it on.

I haven't used it a whole bunch, but with the microphone clipped to my pocket and the recorder inside (and the micropohone is not a chest level) it appears to work quite well!

This is an attractive little microphone but the specs do not mention that it is mono, not stereo, and I did not notice the image of the mono jack in the photo. Monaural recordings play back in the left ear but not the right, breaking symmetry.

For an entry level price this mic can't be beat. This is great for someone who is starting a podcast and has a limited budget. Actually that is what I bought it for. The sound is good and the price is great.

I bought this with a Olympus VN-3100PC digital voice recorder and it works great and the voice recordings are fine. It's nice and small and easily clips onto your shirt. The wire length is just about right for most situations. I would recommend this to my friends without misgivings.
