defence? (Rating: 4 out of 5) let me say ive spent at least 100 hours on nfl street one and maybe 15 hours on nfl street 2. 2 things that make this game very bad the defence sucks in this game, yes i know how to use the defence but it takes a long time to force tons of fumbles and interction are luck for the most part. The rosters are like 3 years old and you cant trade players to make your team somewhat updated. This game is good but if your going to play online you better step up your game, because it doesnt matter how good you are offline. They need to make a nfl 3 with updated rosters you can load off the online service.
Pretty good (Rating: 4 out of 5) The game is great for a street ball game. But I'm used to games like Blitz. I was kinda disappointed that you can tackle anyone once a play is over...unneccessary roughness is one of the best parts of playing football.
NFL Street 2 Rocks! (Rating: 5 out of 5) This is a very fun game. Not really meant to be taken seriously.
w/ a little bit of NFL Blitz and a little bit of Madden thrown together, fans of the first NFL Street will love this title. My 8 year old son and I play this game alot and he really enjoys it. He likes it a bit more than Madden right now because it holds his interest a little more. There's a lot of trash talk and he gets off on that. All in all it's a good, fun game that kids and the big guys can enjoy. Probably a great game to play when a bunch of buddies are sitting around drinking and having a football night. Enjoy this title guys...
For Kids or Not? (Rating: 5 out of 5) NFL blitz is alive and well on the PSP. Only this time it is called NFL Street 2, and it is a little fancier. First the ugly: this game takes 15 hours to load each game. Not really, but that is what it feels like when you just want to play a quick game. The other ugly thing is that it seems a bit difficult to remember what all of the buttons do. So, though it is fun to do a crazy pitch to the running back or a behind the back throw to a receiver 50 yards away, you can never remember that you now have to control the running back or the receiver with a whole new set of controls. This is seen as a positive thing by many that believe the more complex the game, the more shelf life it will have in a collection. Now, the ugly said, this game is fun enough to last forever in your game collection. Does football ever get old? Then a game that is football on steroids done pretty darn well should not either. Finally, the mini-games are worth mentioning with games of smear the queer and 500 that are just loads of fun. There are a couple of others, but the two mentioned are the only games worth much.
Bottom Line: Is it fun? Get this fun football game. Will I keep it? I plan on keeping it as long as I have a PSP. Is it for kids? Too many buttons.
Good game, good amount of flaws (Rating: 3 out of 5) First of all, this is a pretty good game. It's definaly not a simulation football game though. It also has, in my oinion. a few too many flaws. Flaw #1- you can't create your own team. Flaw #2- you can't max out your created charactor's stats. Flaw #3- get's old after you beat "own the city". Those are the big flaws i see in the game. To sumerize, it's not worth $50. Buy it used or rent it.
