You will be SORRY if you buy this!! (Rating: 1 out of 5) NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy any Kingston product, especially the 2GB CF card! I am kicking myself now regretting that I ever purchased this card. I at first bought it because the price was so low. Plus, you think Kingston sounds like a good brand. Well 4 times within the past 6 months this card has suddenly deleted my pictures! Sometimes minutes after I take them. I am a design student and constantly on a deadline, and this CF card has nearly cost me several projects. I would NEVER depend on this card. Before you know it, your entire days worth of pictures will suddenly delete before you even take your card out of your camera. Plus, I use a very nice Canon, so it's NOT the camera. Even though this card is cheap, you will still not be getting your money's worth that's for sure. Plus forget about the warranty! This card was 'discontinued' so my only option was to pay 62 bucks to get it repaired, which is more than I payed for the card! I am going to buy a SanDisk because their other products I use have not failed me. I should have just gone to them in the first place. I'm telling you DO NOT BUY THIS CARD!
As With other reviewers I too got the card error with my Canon S400 (Rating: 2 out of 5) This card was good for awhile with loads of capacity. I started getting an card error on the camera and thought it was the camera. Other cards would not get the error. I tought it was after erasing some of the photos from the camera (it still happened after taking pictures a few days without erasing). I did not loose any pictures card was still readable with card readers (I had to carry more flash cards). After going to Disneyworld and being disappointed with the CF card, I decided to use the lifetime warranty get RMA from kingston.com website. The site called this card discontinued and said it would only be repaired. They are very good and sent RMA email very quickly and paid for my return FedEx. I got a new elite pro 2G 133x in less than a week. I think Kingston is great this has been my only problem. I own more than 10 kingston products this was the only problem one. I would definitely recommend Kingston products. I also can say all my rebates were honored from them.
This thing has never failed me. (Rating: 5 out of 5) I've been shooting a Canon XT onto this chip and it has never once had a single glitch. It's fast on the uptake and on the download into the Mac. I'm shooting highest resolution+RAW and it keeps up with anything I'm doing.
Pretty idiot-proof.
Don't Buy! (Rating: 1 out of 5) At first this was a really good card. Lots of memory for your money. But than randomly in the middle of shooting; my camera would say there was an error with the card and all my photos would be gone. It just recently happened while I was at a wedding, it deleted ALL of the pictures that I had taken. I'm just grateful that I wasn'tthe profesional photographer for the wedding when this happened. I would recomend getting another brand like SanDisc or Lexar, names you can trust.
