The Best Ball for Dogs 6" (Rating: 5 out of 5) My dog loves this toy. In the house, though, she pushes it into places where I have to retrieve it for her - perhaps that's part of the game. It would be great in a fenced yard where she can push it around all she likes.
great ball except for.. (Rating: 4 out of 5) We have the larger ball for our boxer, she loves it and it doesn't pop, she plays soccer and pushes it around the yard for hours. However, after each use, I have to check for places that have lifted up like splinters, they cut her nose and paws when we fist got it. Our yard has a fence and a patio, I believe that these splinters happen when the ball hits the hard places, or from her nails. The splinters come right off with a pocket knife or sand paper.
indestructible, but not fun. (Rating: 3 out of 5) This ball is certainly indestructible, but my dog doesn't seem to enjoy it very much. We have hardwood floors and the plastic ball is extremely noisy on them, whether it is rolling or bouncing. I'm afraid it will roll into a wooden piece of furniture and make a dent in it, the ball is so tough. The only thing my dog can do with this 6" ball is roll it around. She can't get her teeth around it, so normally she doesn't want anything to do with it. This would probably be a fun ball for outside in the grass if I had gotten the smaller version. Even though my dog is a medium-large sized dog, the 6" ball is just too big.
Hershey loves this ball! (Rating: 5 out of 5) When I received this ball, I thought it was too hard and put it away for awhile. I recently got it out and lo and behold our lab absolutely loves it! It rolls very easily and she will chase it and chase it around the house. I am very pleased with it, and so is our Hershey Kisses!
