I'll admit the box has great artwork! (Rating: 1 out of 5) The truth is that there is no reliable clinical evidence that shows that Airborne is at all effective in reducing symptoms or preventing the common cold. The one "clinical study" performed, at the behest of the company, is of extremely dubious quality (and the link to this study is not even on the product's web site any longer). While I have met people who have said that Airborne helps them, this is almost certainly a placebo effect. If you wish to research this product, Scientific American, The New York Times, and the "Orac Knows" blog web sites have good articles on it, and a little digging will find many more. Zinc lozenges, on the other hand, do have some clinical data to back up their efficacy, so I would highly recommend that you spend your money there instead.

FORGET ABOUT THE FLU SHOT AND TAKE THIS DURING THE COLD AND FLU SEASON! (Rating: 5 out of 5) I use to catch a cold or flu virus about once or twice a year. But ever since I discovered Airborne ( 3 years ago ) I have not caught these viruses. I have honestly not had a cold or flu virus IN THE LAST 3 YEARS! The routine that works for me is to take just one tablet every couple of days but ONLY during the cold and flu season. This is an excellent product that I will continue to purchase and recommend for the rest of my life.
Excellent Product (Rating: 5 out of 5) I have used this as a preventative measure for two years now. Whenever I feel early cold symptoms I take one. Considering this, I have only experienced short colds twice in the last two years.
It works! (Rating: 5 out of 5) I don't know how it works but we've been using this product for three years now and at the first sniffle or sneeze we down a tablet or two and it never manifests itself into a full-blown cold. Thats how we've been using it although it is primarily to be used as a preventive when in close quarters for extended periods with others such as on planes, trains, in theaters, at conventions, etc. We're entering our fourth cold season without a cold and I wouldn't be without it anymore. It's an essential part of our medicine cabinet.
