Product DescriptionThe most popular headset in the world, the Supra owes its popularity to the perfect balance between light weight, superior sound and outstanding comfort.
Huge Disappointment (Rating: 1 out of 5) The first item I've ever sent back to Amazon. Sound quality on my end was iffy at best and non-existent on the other. Very possibly a defect in just this one but I didn't want to mess with an exchange and asked for a refund. Seemed flimsy and durability would have been an issue I believe even if the performance had been as expected. On the plus side, couldn't have asked for better customer service from Amazon. Prompt label for return and credit was issued. I can't say enough about Amazon. Best online shopping (and I do a lot) that I've dealt with and they've never let me down. Hope I don't jinx it with high praise :-)
Hard to review a product I can't use... (Rating: 1 out of 5) Now granted, a lot of this is my fault - this is the first Plantronics set I've bought, and I don't know the lingo or many details about headsets... BUT... it would have been nice at *some point* during the purchase if I'd been warned this just doesn't work without the separate modular adapter.
I went back to the site to double check and the only place the adapter is mentioned is under the "Accessories" section. (Unlike Paris Hilton, I view "Accessories" as optional.)
For ~$50, this seemed like a great deal - for the $120+ I'd *really* have to spend (to go back now and purchase the adapter as well)... hmmm... yeah, not so much.
Top class, first rate headset (Rating: 5 out of 5) This is a professional standard telephone headset. This isn't some gimicked up piece of garbage or a lookalike, this is the real deal. This is the type of headset call centers buy because they need the people on both ends to be able to hear and understand every single word with complete clarity. I used one of these for five years, there's nothing I've found for consumer use which comes close, I have wasted hundreds of dollars on other headsets that claim to do what this does. The down side is that it's a wired setup and needs a control box that that big connector attaches you to. If you need to talk on your phone at your desk and your phone is compatible then this will do the job. It isn't necessarily the only solution but it does work well for year after year.
Headset (Rating: 5 out of 5) I spend hours on the phone and this headset really fills the need. Comfortable, great audio performance.
