Works well! (Rating: 5 out of 5) One of the problems with taking pictures in low light, for pictures taken with longer exposures is that of camera shake. Often a minute movement of a camera can be the difference between that perfect crisp photograph and a blurry mess. One of the things that Canon users turn to in these circumstances are the image stabilized lenses which eliminate a lot of the camera shake at the expense of your hard earned dollars. While the IS lenses are great (I own a few), many times the extra expense can be entirely negated with a solid tripod and this quality little gagdet.
I love mine, it has improved my pictures and it only cost $20!

handy item to have (Rating: 5 out of 5) Perfect for helping you get in the picture or keeping the camera from getting camera shake. Only downfall is the remote needs to point at the camera to get the shot. So if you're using it to prevent camera shake/blur, it makes it a bit difficult. But if you're using it to get into the picture, it's great as you won't see a cord in your shot. Good investment.
