Amazon.com ReviewHeavy-gauge metal bakeware is the only choice if you want reliable, consistent results. This premium-steel 9-by-9-inch pan from Chicago Metallic fits the bill nicely: the rolled metal edges ensure the pan stays even--no warping when hot--and uniform heat distribution means your goodies will bake consistently all the way through. The bonded, nonstick finish allows for quick, easy removal of the final product, and cleanup is a breeze--though you'll need to protect your pan's finish by staying away from abrasive cleaners and not using a knife on the surface. The dark metal finish will darken with age, so adjust your oven temperature down 25 degrees to avoid overcooking. --Marianne Painter
Very Good Value, Very Pleased (Rating: 5 out of 5) Just used mine for the first time tonight and I'm very pleased with it. It seemed to heat evenly, didn't discolor or warp. Clean up was so easy that I found myself grinning as I did it! The pan has a nice "heft" to it; it feels substantial, sort of heavy duty like it could handle anything. It's too soon for me to say whether the non-stick finish will hold up but so far, so good!
Chicago Metallic Roasting Pan (Rating: 5 out of 5) THis pan is the best non-stick pan that I have ever purchased and would reccomend to any person that bakesChicago Metallic Professional Non-Stick Bake N' Roast Pan
fabulous! (Rating: 5 out of 5) This is the second one I have purchased. They are great and so easy to clean.
Quality pan for a good price! (Rating: 5 out of 5) I bought this recently and am very pleased, as I have been with all my Chicago Metallic purchases. It's heavy-duty and cleans easily.
Essentials for the down-sized kitchen (Rating: 5 out of 5) The critical questions for the down-sizer/right-sizer is this: how is a new kitchen possession better than something I already own? Can the new possession replace several other possessions?
The name says it all. The Bake 'n' Roast Pan is perfect for baking a cake (or casserole) or for roasting a good-sized piece of meat. Furthermore, it is lightweight, deep, and unbreakable. The 9x13 glass pan I had been using is none of these, nor is it deep enough for roasting. I had already down-sized my turkey roaster out my life, so buying this pan did not enable me to decrease the number of my kitchen pans. However, if you are really determined, you can flip the pan over and use the underside as a cookie sheet. That's three pans for the price of one.
