"E ala E" (Rating: 5 out of 5) This CD of music and singing of IZ, a very famous Hawaiian singer is priceless. I now own two others, but this is still my favorite (maybe because it was my first exposure to this artist.) His voice is so soothing, so spiritual, so uplifting. It makes you feel better if you are stressed. Unfortunately, he is deceased (at a young age), and we have only his recordings to enjoy.
izrael kamakawawiwo ole (Rating: 4 out of 5) I love this man's voice! Great command of instrument. Good sense of humor and love of ancestry evident in interpretation of lyrics. Aged so well. Represents the best of interpretive music. Izrael was being played everywhere I went while in Hawaii.
IZ's E Ala E (Rating: 5 out of 5) Nothing can top "Facing Future" but, this comes in as my 2nd favorite IZ album.
Do not think about it - Buy it (Rating: 5 out of 5) If you have ever listened to one of IZ's songs or own an album, and you wonder if this can be as good as the one that you own, the answer is yes. It is one of his best along with the Alone in IZ World album where he sings "Over the Rainbow."
This big Hawaian has such a great calming voice. When you look at his body, the contrast of it all makes you appreciate him even more. Buy the CD. You will love it.
Rest in Peace Bruddah IZ (Rating: 4 out of 5) Another good album from IZ; maybe not quite as good as "Facing Future" but almost--I thoroughly enjoyed it. :)
