Customer Reviews

Definitive, complete. Would like a pocket version though!  (Rating: 4 out of 5)

The only thing I can find wrong with this guide is that I wish it were in a smaller form factor -- the large pages are colorful and bright, but the magazine format is a drag because it gets dog-eared quickly. A thicker, pocket-sized guide would be just the thing for this PORTABLE game, especially since most of the maps and charts don't take up a full 8.5 x 11 in page.

Even better than that, of course, would be to have the reference material somehow hidden in the software. The built-in maps in the game are helpful, but not nearly as complete as these in the book.

Large Maps!  (Rating: 4 out of 5)

I love large detailed maps! In a game where you can easily get lost. It's good to have large maps that detail where everything is. I haven't read the section detailing FFII yet, I've only beaten FFI. What I've seen of the book detailing the first one however was more than suitable for helping me beat the game.

One Thing Missing  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

This is missing from the guide: build up your Life spell to level 10 or so and you have a pretty good chance to take out even the highest undead types in the final dungeon with one cast.

Otherwise, this is a good guide.

Relive the past.. fond memories revisited  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

A must have for gamers looking to do everything there is to do in these epic RPG titans! This is a very well planned strategy guide. Completely filled with charts and walkthroughs to keep you in the action. These classic RPG titles are It is clear that the writers are fans of the games and quite possibly played through them as the strategy guide was created. It bright maps and detailed outlines are great and easy to follow. This old school gamer loves classic RPG titles and gives this strategy guide 5 Stars!!!! Quest on !!

Wonderful Guide  (Rating: 5 out of 5)

Excellent resource for the GameBoy Advance. Clear text, stat charts and maps.
