Product DescriptionFrom craving constant attention to creating dust, the Cockatiel is a curious creature. This book factually answers 24 common questions about this remarkable animal in a humorous and entertaining way, so next time Checkers grinds his beak, his owner will know hes happy and content rather than being alarmed.
Nothing Groundbreaking (Rating: 4 out of 5) I got this book for my dad for Christmas. It's pretty cute and any cockatiel lover will get a kick out of the illustrations and some of the questions. Some of the stuff is interesting (I didn't know they were afraid of the dark), but a lot of it is just common sense (why does my bird whistle more than it talks?). I'm glad I bought it and most of it is pretty interesting.
Great for New Bird Owners (Rating: 5 out of 5) New to Cockatiels, this book was funny and informative. Recommend this book for anyone beginning to learn about these fascinating birds
Fun Book, for New owners of Cockatiels (Rating: 3 out of 5) Hi! I totally agree with the person who said something like: a fun little book with not a lot of information in it...that's why I was surprised some people thought it had lots of info.
I think if you have these birds as I do and did for 6 mo. before getting this book, you will pretty much already know at least 75% of this books info. Still a very cute gift to give a new cockatiel owner. Also, after I bought it here,I saw it cheaper at other stores...sorry amazon.
Cute Book (Rating: 4 out of 5) This is a pretty cute book. Funny yet informative. Its worth a read.
Finally I understand! (Rating: 5 out of 5) I've had cockatiels for years and just accepted their behavior as eccentric (which it is). Finally someone has shown me in a humorous way why they do some of those incomprehensable things. Cockatiels are still a little weird, but now I understand them a lot better.
