Product Description

Kevin Trudeau blows the lid off a nest of deception and double standards concerning general and individual health in this new book, "Natural Cures 'They' Don't Want You To Know About." Kevin has risked government prosecution to bring you the full story of an intricate conspiracy.

From the retail supermarket outlets of huge, publicly traded corporations comes processed, manipulated, engineered "food products" – produced by other wings of the same corporation. These artificial, toxic treats are then sold with the blessings of the Federal Trade Commission and Food and Drug Administration – government organizations charged with safeguarding the public good – laying the foundations for future disease and chronic ill-health for the consumer, and a guaranteed source of revenue for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

Kevin reveals the shocking truth of how drugs – which are being advertised directly to the consumer, pushing their use to an all-time high – are actually the cause of illness and disease climbing to near epidemic levels.

And, though it sounds dire, Kevin offers a light in the darkness and directs the reader to scores and scores of alternative therapies, medical practices, philosophies and – most importantly – potential cures that help your body regain its natural state of health and vibrancy.

So follow Kevin on an amazing journey through the behind-the-scenes world of corporate sponsored "nutrition" and "health," and learn about "Natural Cures 'THEY' Don't Want You To Know About."

There is some good advice but I don't know what to think of Kevin Trudeau  (Rating: 2 out of 5)

First, about Kevin Trudeau, I believe with his history of deception and fraud its hard to believe good things about him even if in the book he says that he has changed. I am more inclined to think that he is still trying to scam people. This book makes very bold claims that it has the cures for virtually 100% of all diseases but yet there only a short list of diseases and the cures and they aren't very clear or helpful. So Kevin Trudeau is making misleading claims about what is exactly in this book. If people go to read this book in order to find specific cures or treatments for their ailments, this book will not help out. The title and most of the text is extrememly misleading which makes me think that this book is just a scam. The idea of natural remedies is not a scam, you can find countless other books, websites and newsletters with solid scientific facts, written by credible doctors and experts all over the place. Anyways, the majority of the book also goes on and on and on about how the FDA and FTC and drug companies are only trying to make money and are not concerned with the health of the American people. I believe there is obviously some truth in that but again the title of the book says it contains natural cures, not conspiracy theories, even if they do have some truth to them. On the other hand there is very good advice on living a healthy lifestyle. No one can say that eating less processed food and more natural organic food is not an extremely healthy lifestyle change to make. And who would say that trying to cut down and eliminate the amount of toxic chemicals you take in from products we use and the environment is not an extremely smart healthy thing to do? What I mean by that is this book doesnt really have what the title claims to have in it, but it does tell what you should do to start living a healthy lifestyle that could quite possibly keep you from getting sick and maybe even cure a condition or ailment you might have. For that reason alone, I believe this can be a very helpful book for people who might not even know what living a healthy lifestyle is all about. For me, I started exercising and lifting weights on a regular basis, eating more natural, whole, unprocessed food and less "junk" food, taking health supplements and trying to cut out some toxic stuff out of my life long before I read this book. Most of it is just common sense, really. In conclusion, I would not recommend this book at all. There is too much repetition on how bad the FDA, FTC, drug companies etc.. are bad and evil and not enough of the good health advice. You can find much better books on the subject and articles on the internet. Plus the fact that Kevin Trudeau isn't the most trustworthy guy in the world based on his history and the fact that he doesnt supply much evidence for his claims in the book. There is definitely a place for natural remedies in this world but I wouldn't get my information from this book even though there is some very good advice in this book, its just hidden among the other mumbo jumbo. (the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1). Just do some research of your own and you can find plenty of other good books on the subject. Or better yet, find a doctor the specializes in natural remedies and talk to them. I hope my review has been helpful since there are so many reviews on here that just praise Kevin Trudeau and this book even though it has obvious flaws, and an equal amount that just bash him and the whole idea that natural cures and treatments can work.

Provides a great public service  (Rating: 1 out of 5)

Shame on those who have panned this book! This book (and others like it) provide a great public service which has nothing to do with its stated (to educate the public) or real (to make more money for a con artist) purpose. Namely, it's a great way to determine if you are (1) a paranoid, and/or (2) lacking in basic intelligence. If you suspect that you (or someone you know) may fit into either (or both?) categories, but aren't sure, buy a copy of this book and read it / have the suspect of your choice read it. If after doing so (actually a chapter or two would suffice) the reader can't tell that the contents are obvious garbage, then the verdict is in! Anyone who has so little knowledge of basic logic, biology, medicine, and the scientific method that they can accept this drivel as fact has just identified themselves as a danger to themselves and others. They probably shouldn't be allowed to vote, have kids, handle sharp implements, or engage in any other activity that would allow them to endanger themselves or society at large. By all means buy a copy (or two ) today, use it as directed above and help identify the truly deficient lurking in our midst. Help stamp out cluelessness today.

Total Waste of Money!  (Rating: 1 out of 5)

I was extremely disappointed with this book. I paid good money to get what the Infomercial said were lots of secrets for natural cures for just about everything under the sun. Instead, what this book offers is website addresses and names of OTHER publications you should buy (pay even more money for) in order to find out the so-called secrets. In other instances - such as stopping smoking - the book tells you that in order to learn the "secret," you must log onto the author's website and become a "private" (paying) member and THEN, you can find out the secret. This book was a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!

Don't Waste Your Money!!  (Rating: 1 out of 5)

I noticed that you can buy this book used from prices starting at one cent. I wouldn't pay that for it. Here is some of this joker's "advice" -
don't use sunscreen (they cause cancer; not the sun); don't use an electric clothes dryer; don't eat anything from a microwave oven; never drink tap water; don't eat from chain restaurants; don't eat anything that's pasteurized; don't drink beer or wine unless you have made it yourself. Right! Don't eat anything in a box, can, jar, or package!!!
Take a colon cleanser every day for 15 days; it you can't eat it, don't put it on your skin; don't eat anything with labels that say "fat free", "sugar free", or "low carbs". The stupidity just goes on and on and on. Oh, and I found this interesting - DON'T go to a psychiatrist or psychologist - DO dianetics/scientology. What a surprise! NOT!
As other reviewers have said, all of the "real" advice requires you to buy another book, or go to his web site, or subscribe to his newsletter. In fact, he has an entire chapter, called "The Solution" that involves nothing more than giving him more money.
My husband heard about this book on the radio and purchased it. Trust me, the paper it's printed on is worth more than this author's advice.
Amazon would not let me enter this review without giving it at least one star. I would give it none.

This guy is a hack.  (Rating: 1 out of 5)

The book is terrible and contains little more than a conspiracy theory. Do not buy this book. Like he said, "I'm not a doctor, I'm just reporting." A lot of these "cures" are fairly well known anyways, even Wikipedia contains most of these "cures".
