Product DescriptionFrog has a problem. Burping makes him happy, but all the other frogs think it's disgusting. When he finds a town where everyone loves to burp, he finally realizes that the other frogs may have been right after all.
This comedy of bad manners will have children laughing out loud. And they will discover, like Frog, that a little manners can go a long way. Lisa Kopelke's lively text and witty illustrations showcase Frog and his overly gassy friends.
Burp!Excuse me!
My kids don't really like it....so I don't either. (Rating: 1 out of 5) If my kids don't ask me to read a book over and over, then I know it's no good. My little ones rarely choose this book for bedtime reading time. When I do read it, they are barely engaged. I do not recommend it.
Great book, read over and over (Rating: 5 out of 5) My kids love this book, and we've pulled it out every month or two for almost 2 years now. Well written, appeals to their sense of humor, gets the point across. It's a keeper.
Loved this book! (Rating: 5 out of 5) What a wonderful book - both in content and illustrations - sent to my nephew over in London and it is now one of his favorites.
Again, please! (Rating: 5 out of 5) A children's book is different than adult books in that a 600 page novel can be read once and the reader can feel that the purchase price was a bargain. But a 32 page picture book must pass this test to be a bargain: a child must want to hear it again...and again. This book passes the test. The drawings delight. They are as playful as a child, as is the text. And the story nicely balances teaching and whimsy.
A comedic book on the importance of manners (Rating: 5 out of 5) "Excuse Me!" by Lisa Kopelke is a wonderfully creative book when trying to explain the importance of manners to children. This book explores the world of a frog and his friends. Frog is looked down upon for his constant burping, so they send him away. He finds a town full of other frogs that love to burp, but he realizes how discusting it can be. He ventures back home and is accepted because he has realized the importance of saying, "excuse me" after he burps. As a teacher to be, I would appreciate having this book in my classroom. It is good to always be reinforcing manners and appropriate behavior with the students. This book also has some wonderful illustrations that everyone will love. Buy it today!
